ABOUT THE MEET-UPs

This is group of like minded gardeners whose aim is to grow their gardens without the use of chemicals. The group consists of experienced and new gardeners who meet once a month to learn and share their knowledge, attend field trips and workshops on everything gardening and sustainability.

Roleystone Organic Growers: A chat with Darren Seinor

Roleystone Organic Growers is thrilled to welcome local garden guru Darren Seinor to our September meeting. Darren lives in Roleystone and is a well-known horticulturist, recognised waterwise accredited irrigator, and TV and radio presenter. With extensive horticultural knowledge and his own landscaping business, Darren brings a wealth of practical experience to share.

Darren will be talking to us about all things gardening, with a special emphasis on fruit fly control.

Time: Wednesday 9th September at 7pm

Venue: Roleystone Family Centre.

Entry: $5 per person (cash)

Attendees are encouraged to bring something for the “thank you box”, as well as any spare produce, cuttings or plants from their garden to share and swap with others.
