Venue Hire

What Time is The Centre Open?

The centre office is open from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily between Monday and Friday. The centre has rooms available for hire between 6:30 AM and 11:00 PM, 7 days a week and advance booking of the rooms, which are charged by the hour, is essential.

Can I Book Online?

Yes, its our prefered way to make bookings.  If you encounter any issues at all, phone us during office hours of send us a message.

Are Cancellation Refunds Available?

Yes, however this is subject to certain restrictions outlined in the <a title="Venue Terms &amp; Conditions " href="https://roleyfamilycentre.com.au/venue-hire/venue-hire-terms-and-conditions/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Terms &amp; Conditions.</a>

Can I Access the room prior to my booking to set up?

Unfortunately, no, you can't. Should you wish to have set up time (or pack down time, for that matter) then please add the amount of time you will need to the start and/or end of the time you wish to schedule your event for.

Do You Have a BBQ Available

Our BBQ is only available to those who hire the activity areas (AA1, AA2), and is available at an additional cost. Please add it as an extra when you complete your booking via our online booking system.

My Booking is Outside of Office Hours, How Do I Get Keys?

You are required to collect the keys during our office opening hours of 9AM to 2PM (As stated in the Terms &amp; Conditions), and return them the following Monday during the same time period. If you're unable to collect within the specified hours, you're welcome to send a representative on your behalf.

What if I can't get to the Family Centre within the times stated within the terms & conditions, in working hours to pick up or drop off my keys?

I want to have a bouncy castle at my party. Where can they set up?

<span class="NormalTextRun SCXW97399503 BCX0">The back corner of the playground, up on the astro turf is the usual location for bouncy castles. We do not allow pegs to hold down the bouncy castle, so please let the hirer know they will need to bring sandbags.</span>

If I have entertainment for my birthday party, can they come in prior to our booking to set up?

This includes any hired entertainment or caterers. They will only be able to have access during your booked time. </span></span>

Can I come in to clean up from my party on the next morning?

I want to book your cleaner to clean up after our party. What does it cost?

I want to hire the BBQ. How does this work?

You’re welcome to hire the BBQ for any time during your centre booking. This can be arranged as an optional extra when you make your booking.
For safety, please ensure the BBQ is set up well away from children and out of reach of the hot plate. We recommend allocating a designated area separate from the main play space to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

How do I arrange to fill up the BBQ gas bottle? I won’t have time during my venue hire?

Workshops, Courses & Classes

What do I do If I am unable to attend?

If you're unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible and let us know the reason. We hope your cancellation falls within the <a title="Terms &amp; Conditions Courses" href="https://roleyfamilycentre.com.au/courses/terms-conditions-courses/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Terms &amp; Conditions</a> of your booking, and we’ll do our best to assist you accordingly.

What Happens If I Need to Cancel?

Please contact us directly via email, or call us during our centre office hours (9:00AM - 2:00PM Monday to Friday)

Will there be food available?

Catering availability depends on the individual course. In most cases, catering is not provided unless clearly stated or the course is part of a dedicated food event. For full details, please refer to the specific course information on the booking page.
We do have a kitchen onsite, which you're welcome to use for making tea or coffee, or for heating up food during your visit.

What payments do you accept

We accept all major credit cards. If you are having issues making payments, please contact our helpful and friendly team during business hours on 9496 1115.

I ’ m interested in joining a class that started last week, but I’m unable to enrol online. What should I do?

Once a class has commenced or reached capacity, online enrolments are automatically disabled. Please contact our office directly to discuss availability or alternative options between 9am and 2pm weekdays on 08 94961115.  We usually have to have a chat with the tutor running that class.

Share Cart & Food Relief

I have heard about your food relief. Can anyone take items?

Once we've posted on Facebook that food relief is open for the day, you're welcome to take what you need, no judgement. We’re usually ready by around 10:30am, but we kindly ask that you wait until the post goes live as this helps us ensure fair access for everyone in our community.
After 2:00pm, any remaining food will be brought inside and added to the share cart, or placed on the lounge beside it for continued access.

What food is available?

It really depends on what the big supermarkets give us and changes each week.

What days can I collect food relief?

Mondays and Wendnesdays during school terms from 10:3oam out the front of the building on tables.  Any leftovers will be inside on the share cart after 2pm.

I have surplus produce and pantry items from my garden. Can I donate it to the community

Do you take clothing donations?

I have electrical goods that are still working. Can you take these for the community?
