ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (includes CPR): $155 10am to 2pm
A comprehensive training course designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to provide First Aid response, life support, and manage casualties, incidents, and other first aiders in various situations, including at home, in the workplace, and within the community, until medical assistance arrives. This certified training is often required for employment by many workplaces. Your online, multiple-choice, assessment is anticipated to take you approximately 3 hours.
HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (includes CPR): $170 10am to 2pm
This course covers everything that we have in the HLTAID011 course, plus includes extra training relevant to education and care settings. Your online, multiple-choice, assessment is anticipated to take you approximately 4.5 hours.
HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation: $80 10am to 11am
Only need to update your CPR? We also have an option to attend for the CPR-only in-person component from 10am to 11am. The online, multiple-choice, assessment is anticipated to take approximately 30 minutes.
These are all accelerated learning courses so you will be required to complete an online multiple-choice assessment in full prior to the practical component day. Your details will be provided to the Tutor so that you can receive this component and receive your official certification.
These are all hands on, practical courses. You will need to be able to kneel on the floor and provide CPR for a minimum of 2 minutes to be successful in being accredited as per ARC guidelines.
No lunch is provided, but we will have a short lunch break, so please bring along your lunch. We have a fully equipped kitchen for you to reheat or prepare food.
We offer smaller group sizes to ensure that all your questions are answered and you receive the individual attention you may require.
As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on minimum numbers for our classes and courses. We greatly appreciate if you share this event with your friends. Group bookings are most welcome, and we extend our sincere gratitude to the community for your support.
